This was shot in Hoboken this past weekend. My intention was to play around with HDR, but since it was windy out I was not able to get steady shots; this forced me to tweak exposures in the RAW files. I’m pretty happy with the overall turnout of this image, although I did learn some new techniques that will improve sharpness in future attempts.
This restaurant is located right along the Hudson River, so my back was facing New York City as I was shooting this. If you were in the restaurant, and it was day time out (not like in this shot) and you looked outside the window, you would see the Empire State Building along with the Manhattan skyline.
