This is another shot from the Illy cups collection. There might be one more I put up tomorrow—I haven’t decided if I like it enough. For this image, the colors, contrast, and overall composition are great; however, the impact of this image—for me at least—is somewhat weak. Maybe it’s too early to concern myself with the question of what purpose I want my images to serve, but nevertheless, the significance of the question should not be undermined. Why am I doing this? What does it mean to me?—All questions I have no answers to yet. For now, all I know is that I enjoy taking pictures. But I want it to mean something and to be useful to someone, otherwise it has no worth. It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of my exploration of this topic.
Enough ramble.
