This will be the last of the Little Illy’s, for now at least. There are a couple more “pretty” shots I could share with you, but what’s the point—coffee cups are nice and all, but enough is enough: you can’t possibly be any less bored with these than I? Some photographers are probably perfectly fine with taking nice pictures. For me, everything always takes on a serious role: it’s either going to have an impact or it’s not worth my time. This is a tall order and I am fully aware of it, but it’s the only way to go. Maybe I can live up to it and maybe I can’t. One thing is for sure: I’m going to challenge myself and keep my fingers crossed that the high expectations don’t turn me off.

Tonight’s fortune cookie had the following wisdom for me: “Don’t worry about the world coming to an end. It’s already tomorrow in Australia”.

Very reassuring indeed.
