I consider myself lucky to have Renata as my sister; she is the most amazing person I know. This past weekend I took a bus trip to Ithaca to visit her at Cornell University. Although the weather wasn’t sunny the whole time, I saw some of the most beautiful places and got to experience a little taste of college life again (can’t believe it’s been 3 years since I graduated). Renata is doing research that is going to help fight the SARS virus. She showed me some really cool cells under the microscope, and all the while I was remembering the day that I first met her, when she was just a tiny baby. Now 20 years later, I’m visiting her in college, and she is doing some serious research—life is amazing. This week’s pictures are dedicated to you Ren! I love you.
